Our shared global awareness of building a sustainable world is expressed in the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This gives us a common framework for assessing how Kamono is currently contributing to these goals and how we can develop further to make an even greater impact in the future.   • By 2030, help improve water quality by reducing pollution, eliminating dumping, minimizing the release of harmful chemicals and substances, halving untreated wastewater, and dramatically increasing recycling and safe reuse globally.
  • Increasing the rate of reliably treated wastewater.
  • By 2030, benefit substantially increasing water use efficiency across all sectors, ensuring a sustainable supply of freshwater to address water scarcity, and significantly reducing the number of people suffering from water scarcity
  • Level of water stress: contributing to the ratio of freshwater drawn from springs to available freshwater resources.

  • Maintaining per capita income growth in line with national conditions and contributing to the target of at least 7 percent annual growth in gross domestic product, especially in least developed countries.
  • Aiming at higher levels of economic efficiency by focusing on high value-added and labor-intensive sectors and through diversification, technology development and innovation.
  • To strive to decouple economic growth from environmental degradation, in line with the 10-Year Framework Program for Sustainable Consumption and Production.
  • Prevention of child labor and forced labor.
